ISSS Travel Award: The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding research and/or clinical presentations while defraying the costs of travel to the annual conference. Awards are given based on the quality of the presentation or poster submission and demonstration of need. Applicants should indicate that they wish to be considered for the ISSS Travel Award on their abstract submission form. If multiple submissions are made, one presentation/poster must be chosen for consideration. To be eligible for the award, applicants must be a) an ISSS member of good standing at the time that the award is made; b) first author on the presentation/poster submitted for the award; c) in attendance and presenting at the ISSS conference for which the award is made; and d) demonstrate need for monetary assistance for travel. Award amount varies from year to year.

ISSS Student Presentation Award: The purpose of this award is to recognize excellence among student members of ISSS who are selected to give research or clinical presentations at the annual conference. Awards are given based on the quality of the conference presentation. Applicants should indicate that they wish to be considered for the ISSS Student Presentation Award on their abstract submission form. If multiple submissions are made, one presentation must be chosen for consideration. To be eligible for the award, applicants must be a) currently enrolled as a student, including individuals on predoctoral internship; b) an ISSS member of good standing at the time that the award is made; c) first author on the presentation submitted for consideration for the award; d) in attendance and presenting at the ISSS conference for which the award is made. Students will receive a one-year membership to ISSS and complementary registration for the following year’s conference.
