Please see below for a message from our host, Dr. Paul Plener:
Welcome to Vienna on June 26th/27th 2020! We look forward to bringing together NSSI and self-harm researchers from all over the world to exchange cutting edge research and meet friends and fellow researchers in a great surrounding. Vienna has been ranked as the world’s most liveable city (according to the Economist, 2018) and the city with the highest quality of living (according to Mercer ranking, 9th year running). Vienna is easily accessible from different countries with Vienna airport presenting as large hub in the middle of Europe. The ISSS 2020 meeting will be held in one of psychotherapy’s birthplaces, with the congress venue being just a three minutes walk from Freud’s flat and a 15 minutes walk from the inner city. Call for abstracts will open in September 2019 so be sure to look out for it!
